Dear Sir or MS:

     I would speak in favor of the courts adopting the ABA citation 
recommendation.

     First, it would enhance my use of this computer medium to 
practice my legal profession. The courts of this nation belong to the 
people and so should its work product. It does me a great disservice 
to be able to read court decisions, but be prevented from freely 
using them in my own work.

     Secondly, if properly nurtured, the Internet will make 
information available to everyone. For perhaps the first time the 
phrase "every man is presumed to know the law", would become a 
reality instead of a legal fiction.

     Because I believe the ABA recommendation is a positive and 
realistic improvement upon the justice system, I urge you to adopt 
it.
