 Subject: Vendor neutral citation

Dear Sir or Madam:

     I am writing with regard to the adoption of a vendor neutral 
citation system. As an officer of the court I strongly urge the 
adoption of a vendor neutral citation system. It is imperative that 
we create an open system that will allow for richer and more 
meaningful exchange of ideas within the legal system. A vendor 
neutral citation system will permit more effective analysis of 
existing law and will make additional research tools available to the 
bar. Counsel should not be limited in their research by the 
monolithic influence of a single corporate mindset of how legal 
research should be conducted.

     Open up the citation system for a richer and more meaningful 
look at the law.
