 Subject: Proposed adoption of ABA resolution on uniform 
           vendor-neutral

Greetings:

     Please add my name to the list of attorneys who strongly urge 
the Federal courts to adopt a citation system as proposed by the ABA. 
The bar in specific and the public in general are severely 
shortchanged by being required to cite cases using citations created 
by companies such as West. We will not see the widespread low-cost  
dissemination of federal cases by Internet, CD ROM, etc., until we 
adopt a vendor-neutral citation system. The cases belong to the 
citizens of this country, but the current system gives West and 
similar companies virtual ownership of our cases. Please adopt the 
proposal.
