I heard from C/net central's news homepage that West had a monopoly, in a perspective by Margie Wylie. I learned that they charged users for copies of legal, public cases. The following was taken from the West publishing's search page: There are no subscription fees with WestDoc. Each case viewed is just $8.00, and you can bill it to your credit card. They then wanted a user i.d. and a password to access their database. I feel this is grossly wrong. The internet was made to freely exchange ideas and public, non-copyrighted materials. This act infringes upon that god-given right. Liberty Young Cottonwood, Az. shoe@sedona.net
